From politics to skincare: Lisa Hanna unveils new skincare line
Former Member of Parliament and Miss World 1993 Lisa Hanna is stepping into the beauty industry in a bold new way, launching her luxury skincare brand, Lisa Hanna Beauty, with a message that is already turning heads.
The official announcement was made Tuesday via social media, where Hanna introduced the brand with a deeply personal and reflective take on beauty that challenges traditional standards.
"Beauty wasn't meant to be defined. Beauty is that quiet moment that takes your breath away--not for how it looks, but for how it makes you feel," Hanna said in a video shared on her Instagram page and the brand's official account.
Rejecting the idea of perfection and filters, she added, "It's not a standard, it's not a filter, it's not youth to recapture. It's the courage to let your laughter rise unedited; it's the grace to let your story show--scars and all."
The brand, developed in partnership with a globally recognised Italian laboratory, is being positioned as a premium skincare line rooted in science and modern wellness, aimed at women navigating full and evolving lives.
Described as being "born from a life fully lived," Lisa Hanna Beauty embraces the philosophy of "aging intelligently," encouraging women to rethink how they view time and self-care.
On the brand's website, Hanna shares her personal journey, noting that at 50, her glow is not about quick fixes but discipline, intention, and self-respect.
"Through every season of her life, she recognised that skin does not simply age--it reflects how a woman lives, endures, and becomes," the brand states.
The line also pushes back against long-held beauty narratives that treat aging as something to fight. Instead, it aims to redefine that mindset and celebrate growth and experience.
So far, seven products have been rolled out, including the Advanced Balance Cleanser, The Serum, The Moisture Creme, Luminous Face + Body Glow, Instant Relief Eye Gel, Hydra Dew Elixir, and Advanced Fade Balm.
The products are already being marketed on an international level and are available through the brand's website and at Equinox Hotels and Spa.
