Thieves break into furniture store

Detectives from the St Catherine North Police Division are now investigating a robbery incident at the Linstead branch of Courts Jamaica Limited.

Reports are that early Sunday morning, police personnel were summoned to the King Street location.

Initial investigations revealed that the thieves entered the building by cutting a hole in the roof. Entry was gained to the storeroom area from which a quantity of items were removed.

The police said it seems someone was hurt during the robbery as there were blood marks on the scene.
