Police identify body of female found in canal

The police have identified the body of a female that was removed from a canal in Spanish Town, St Catherine, yesterday.

She is Kerrian Gordon of Spanish Town, St Catherine.

The body, which was clad in blue jeans pants and a yellow top, was identified yesterday evening.

Reports are that the police were called to the scene near Fairfield Road at about 8 a.m. Personnel from the fire department later assisted the police to remove the body. 

Investigations continue.
