Roxanne Robinson puts her spin on Christmas classic
Gospel singer Roxanne Robinson is spreading hope and cheer this holiday season with her latest release, Oh Holy Night.
Produced by LovelyTones Laboratory (Benjamin Asuakoh), the singer has put her spin on the Christmas classic to make it her own.
"It's cheerful, it's a ray of hope. This track is my all-time favourite holiday gem revamped into a classical timeless masterpiece. It speaks of everything that took place at the cradle on that holy night. It's majestic, and full of joyful melodies," she said.
Taking a little more than a month to complete, the track made its way to retailers just in time for the Christmas season on December 8. Robinson has also expressed complete joy in voicing the song and shooting the accompanying music video.
"I had such an amazing time in studio and on set, and I am eternally grateful for everyone who helped me to make it a successful one. I would like to thank my producer Benjamin and his wife Nessa Asuakoh (vocal coach) who masterfully demonstrated excellence, patience and integrity on this project," said Robinson.
She added, "My hope is to see people smile again, dance again, love again, no matter the circumstances life may bring this holiday season. Rejoice in the Lord, make His name ring loud in the hearts of His people across nations.
Oh Holy Night follows the success of her Caribbean Medley that earned her a Sterling Award nomination and has since surpassed one million views on YouTube. Caribbean Medley was lifted from her Still Standing album that has been very well received by music lovers.
"I will continue to produce greatness God's way. I have the utmost faith that 2026 will be an even more amazing road for me and my music," she said.
